Lacey Filipich
Lacey is a chemical engineer with ten years experience in the mining industry, mostly on site in operations. She started her career on shift as the only female among 40 operators and continued along the same vein until she was often the only female in meetings with the General Managers and Vice Presidents she worked with as a management consultant. She is an enthusiastic advocate for more women joining male-dominated industries like mining for the positive impact they can have economically and socially, and for the wonderful opportunities such workplaces can offer women.
